##NoFilterAre you counting the days until spring break for a chance to relax and recharge? Are you ready for a break or is it more than that?
Join us for the first event in our new The Academy #NoFilter event series “Coping with Burnout” featuring Jenny McKee, Associate Director of the Health Education Resource Office and Scott Reinardy, Associate Dean for Student Success & Malcolm Applegate Professor in News Management and Editing.
Our panelists will discuss their research into burnout in various career and professional sectors. We will also discuss what burnout is more broadly, signs of burnout, coping strategies for burnout, and resources at and beyond KU to help support those experiencing burnout. We will then open up the panel for a Q&A session with audience members.
Please register for this event via The Academy #NoFilter Registration Form.

More about the #NoFilter series: The Academy #NoFilter is presented as an opportunity for graduate students to learn from faculty, staff, and each other about common academic experiences that we rarely talk about, including burnout, repeated rejection of publication submissions, experiments that "fail," and impostor syndrome. Speakers will address the topics from their research and experience to inform conversation that is relevant for graduate students who are interested in pursuing careers in the academy as well as those interested in entering other professional fields.
This series is presented in collaboration by: the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences; the Office of Multicultural Affairs; the Office of Graduate Studies; The Commons; and the Hall Center for the Humanities.
