The Tradition of Excellence Award honors KU students dedicated to upholding the institution's history and prestige through contributing to the development and ongoing success of the university. Whether they enrich the learning of others by serving as a teaching assistant, dedicate themselves to their student organization, or donating their time through service in the Lawrence community, these students actively and positively improve the KU community.

If you believe you have left a positive impact on the KU community, we highly encourage you to apply! Award recipients will be offered a $1,000 scholarship, and a $200 donation to contribute to an existing KU Endowment Fund of your choice. Award recipients and their families/friends will be invited to attend a recognition ceremony on Friday, April 19. All full-time undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is Friday, March 25.
