The Center for Russian, East European & Eurasian Studies (CREES) is pleased to partner with KU Student Union Activities for Tunes at Noon. KU SUA hosts local bands and performers each semester to give a concert at Ascher Plaza outside of the KU Union.

CREES and SUA are teaming up on April 19, 2024 to present the astounding Elenka Cello, who will perform Ukrainian music from 12:00 to 1:00pm.

Growing up as a daughter of a master cellist, Elenka started playing cello when it was actually bigger than she was. Since than, she graduated music academy, took master classes from Moscow and Switzerland professors, and traveled the world for 11 years, captivating audiences with her charm, charisma and natural ability to play the cello like a rockstar.
