Join us for the first spring seminar of the Cofrin Logan Center for Addiction Research and Treatment, when we will welcome Dr. Tamika Zapolski, Associate Professor, Indiana University School of Medicine. Her talk will be about the landscape of alcohol use and other substance use among Black Americans. She will discuss frameworks for conceptualizing substance use risk, particularly among Black Americans and raise awareness of the current research findings on risk/protective factors related to Black youth and young adult alcohol and other substance use.
