On Veterans Day KU historian and Professor of the Practice Karl Brooks and KU psychology graduate student Garrett Baber reconsider “General” Hugh Cameron.  This decorated Civil War veteran and abolitionist Lawrence founder lived in a treehouse at 5^th and Indiana for nearly a quarter-century during the Gilded Age.
