About this Event
1330 E 902 Road, Lawrence KS
Join us in helping monarch butterflies and pollinators by adding 2,000 native plants to one of Lawrence’s most beloved parks. The Kansas Biological Survey & Center for Ecological Research (KU) is leading a project to plant 11 acres with native wildflowers and grasses at the Mutt Run Dog Park at Clinton Lake. This is the first of two volunteer opportunities to help improve habitat at this newly seeded grassland. It's a great activity for all ages - bring the kids!
