On Wednesday, April 3, from 6 pm - 7:30 pm, please join the Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity in partnership with The Commons in Burge Union, Forum B, for a special Global Climate Teach-In session of Zines & Za, our series of recurring zine nights hosted by Zine Fellow Monty Protest.

Our zine nights offer a welcoming feminist space for people to connect and create in community with one another over free pizza (including veg and vegan options).

During this session, participants are encouraged to create a 5.5 x 8.5-inch page exploring the relationship between environmental justice and feminism for inclusion in a comp zine titled "Destroy the Patriarchy, Not the Planet."

This comp zine theme is meant to complement the "Climate Justice is a Feminist Issue," Part XVIII of Educate & Act on April 2, by offering attendees an opportunity to act on what they learn about the connections between climate justice and feminism at the event. Please note that attendance at Educate & Act is recommended, but not required to participate in Zines & Za and/or contribute to the comp zine.
