On Wednesday, February 7th, from 6 pm - 7:30 pm, please join the Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity in partnership with Students United for Reproductive & Gender Equity (SURGE) at the ECM (1204 Oread Ave.) for a special session of Zines & Za, our series of recurring zine nights hosted by Zine Fellow Monty Protest.

Our zine nights offer a welcoming feminist space for people to connect and create in community with one another over free pizza (including veg and vegan options).

During this session, participants are encouraged to create a 5.5 x 8.5-inch page exploring themes around menstruation, such as advancing period positivity and alleviating period poverty, for inclusion in a comp zine titled "My Bloody Valentine: A Love Letter to Periods" (submissions due by February 10).

The Emily Taylor Center and SURGE will release free copies of the compilation zine as part of "My Bloody Valentine: A Period Pantry Benefit Party" at the ECM on Wednesday, February 28. Learn more about SURGE's Period Pantry located in the Emily Taylor Center.
